How it Works

The Audit

Today’s Robin Hood performs audits with many governmental agencies across the nation to identify sums of money that is owed to private individuals and companies. If these funds remain unclaimed for too long, they are usually lost to the government agency holding them.

Paperwork and Payment

Once you have spoken to one of our Funds Recovery Specialists and verbally agreed to let us work your claim, we will set up a time for a Notary to come to you with several pages of paperwork that will allow us to get started.  We work through Notaries and with attorneys. Everything we do is in writing and you always get a copy!

Our firm works on a contingency basis – so there are NO out-of-pocket expenses to you. We get paid ONLY upon successful collection of your claim. We cover ALL expenses related to the claim until it is paid, and if your claim is unsuccessful - you owe us nothing.

After completing document package, the Notary will give you a copy to keep for your records and will overnight a copy back to our office. Claims are usually processed in 3-6 months depending on the complexity of the case. Your share of the claim (typically 60% of the funds collected) are remitted to you within 30 days of receipt.

Don’t delay. These funds are held for only a limited period of time. After this time period, your window of opportunity to claim your money will close. The money will be permanently “escheat” and the government will seize and permanently keep your money.

We hate to think of private citizens losing their funds to faceless government agencies through a system rooted in feudal 16th century England. We think this practice is completely unfair and we work hard to prevent this from happening to anyone – especially you.
